End-of-life pleasure boats are made up of many complex materials. Their dismantling requires precise analysis and rigorous sorting to enable each component to be processed and recycled to the maximum:

A multi-stage process :

  • Pollution control/degassing: removal of pollutants (oils, fuels, batteries, etc.).
  • Dismantling manual or mechanical dismantling of structural components
  • Treatment : shredding or grinding of recyclable materials
  • Shipping to approved recycling channels
  • Energy recovery: the example of composites

Composite materials from boat hulls, which are difficult to recycle, can be transformed into Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF).

Used in cement plants in particular, CSR makes it possible to :

  • Reducing fossil fuel consumption
  • Giving a second life to waste that cannot be recycled into materials
