Comprehensive care and treatment free of charge
APER is the single legal entry point for all boaters.
It covers 100% of the costs associated with dismantling your boat.
Boats eligible for APER recycling :
- Length: between 2.5 m and 24 m, including VNM (jet-skis)
- Designed for marine and inland navigation
- Registered in France in France
Excluded:
- Human-powered boats (kayaks, windsurfers, SUPs, pedalos, etc.)
- Foreign-registered boats

Steps involved in dismantling your pleasure boat

Access the APER platform
Your login and password will be sent to you securely.

Submission of deconstruction request
Enter your personal details
Enter the details of the boat owner (if different)
Complete the boat form and the dismantling request form
Upload the required supporting documents

Choice of approved dismantling center
Select your local center:
SCLAVO ENVIRONNEMENT, official partner of the industry

Validation by the dismantling center
The authorized demolisher checks your file (information & supporting documents)

Transfer to maritime and customs authorities
The file is forwarded to the authorities for administrative verification
The authorities validate or reject the application with APER

Final validation by APER
Once validated, the request is confirmed on your personal space
You are informed ofyour boat's eligibility for free dismantling.

Analysis & Sorting: the first step towards recovery
End-of-life pleasure boats are made up of many complex materials. Their dismantling requires precise analysis and rigorous sorting to enable each component to be processed and recycled to the maximum:

Composite materials from boat hulls, which are difficult to recycle, can be transformed into Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF).
