At a time when parity between men and women is slow to take hold in French companies, the Sclavo Environnement Group is making a name for itself where none was expected. In a sector that is usually thought of as male-dominated, the leading waste treatment and recycling company in the Var and Alpes-Maritimes regions boasts 30% women among its 100 employees (group and subsidiaries). What’s even more astonishing is that this figure rises to 65% at management level (excluding family shareholders).
