Spring clean-up on Sunday at Saint-Rapha\u00ebl’s Vieux-Port, where some twenty people, most of them volunteers, braved the wind and cold for a good cause. Members of the “Aquapassion” association and the “Aventure sous-marine” diving club, who initiated the Port sans d\u00e9chet project (first edition), together with the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Nationale du Sauvetage en Mer (SNSM) and staff from the R\u00e9gie des ports, spent a good three hours collecting rubbish in shallow water. To collect this unwanted waste, the SCLAVO group provided the “diver-cleaners” with an 8m3<\/sup> skip. Only 2m3<\/sup> were needed, as the bottom of the Vieux-Port basin was relatively clean. Good news, according to the R\u00e9gie, especially for a port facility located in the city center. <\/p>\n
